Nightmare #279 – Washday Blues

“…It was a dream about my own utter annihilation…”

(Male, 40′s) I was in a basement, a dingy cinderblock basement and I was washing clothes by hand in two huge wash tubs. One of the tubs was filled with pretty powerful ammonia for some reason.

I was unable to move my legs for some reason. Either they stuck to the floor or the were heavy and thick feeling but it was difficult to move.

And I started to pass out because of the fumes. I felt myself falling over forward into the ammonia solution. And I was afraid because I figured I’d drown because I’d be unconscious. And that by the time anyone found me the solution would have dissolved my face and hands until I would be unrecognizable.

It was a dream about my own utter annihilation.
