“…If he started to freak out, the wolf would go crazy and it would all be over….”
(Male, 20’s) Seriously weird dream, here. It didn’t start out being a nightmare. I was wandering through a train yard and this long rusty freight train had been turned into a strip mall. Each car was a different store so you had to walk through all of them to get to the other side.
Then I was in a barn but it was made of metal. Cement floor. There was a cage on the floor, maybe 6 foot long by 4 foot wide by 3 foot tall. It was some kind of a torture chamber. Inside there were two naked guys, a rabid wolf and a TV set. If the guys could stay perfectly still the wolf would go to sleep and they’d stay alive. But if they riled up the wolf, it would tear them to shreds. And for some reason, I knew that at least one of the guys had been given LSD. I didn’t know what to do.
Next thing I knew, I was one of the guys trapped in the cage. The fur of the wolf was coarse and it almost felt sharp on my skin. It was baring its teeth but it was making itself comfortable like it was going to get a nap. I tried to keep it together but I was feeling pretty claustrophobic. And I was also afraid of what the other guy would do. If he started to freak out, the wolf would go crazy and it would all be over.
